In the Tecumseh Froniter Day's Parade, the float took first prize for "Best use of Theme".  In the Shawnee Centenial Parade a week later, the float won a trophy for "Best of Show"'.  Lots of hours were put into the building of the float.  Everyone had a good time building the float and were rewarded for their efforts with the awards.
